They are con men and swindlers. Always on the road, one step ahead of their victims and the law. Grifters get a + 3 to Charisma rolls at 1st level. This bonus increases by + 1 at 3rd, 6th and 9th level also.
In addition, once per adventure per level, they can make a target believe one “fact”, no matter how implausible, as long as the Grifter succeeds in a MIND + Charisma roll vs the opponent’s skill roll (usually MIND + Education or Charisma, whichever is better).
